Success Stories
Meet Evie. Our first KPR kid. We adopted her early December 2016. She came to us to fill the whole left after our first fur baby passed at age 16. Evie was a last minute addition on a pound run to Northern Qld made by KPR. She was quiet and shy on arrival, but found a liking for chickens, and couches. Overall in the first year we lost 2 lounges and a recliner. Sam thought we'd send her back but her beautiful nature won us over. She is a brilliant running partner to my husband and will easily do a 20k trail run with him. We couldn't imagine our lives without her.
We were lucky enough to have found Karmas Place on Facebook and found the most perfect family pet ever. This is our beautiful boy Jack, he has been with us 4 years now. He has been a huge blessing for our family and has brought much love and happiness into our lives. He is super smart and has the most gentle goofy personality ever. The Karmas place team were loving and welcoming whilst also making sure we were the right forever family for Jack. We were lucky to be supported by them. We are so very grateful to them for Our beautiful blessing Jack. He still and always will be our little sunshine.
We adopted Woofy nearly 7 months ago. What a lovely sweet girl she is. Living a great life, her favourite time is at the beach and has finally mastered swimming. She attends doggy daycare one day a week to spend time with her 3 doggy pals. She turns 7 in June but can still keep up with young ones. We enjoy everyday with Woofy thank you.
Our Story
Karma's Place Rescue Inc is a small, non profit, volunteer organisation, dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and re homing of animals in need. We aim to provide quality care to each animal, regardless of age, disability or breed. We pride ourselves on having a strong moral and ethical foundation and being compassionate in our dealings with both people and animals. We aim to help orphaned, aged, abused, neglected and unwanted pets. Our mission is to find each pet a loving forever home based on their individual needs, regardless of how long it takes. All pets in our care will be flea and worm treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchiped before rehoming. We receive no government funding so rely solely on donations and fundraising activities. We aim to encourage responsible pet ownership by promoting desexing, microchiping and health care in our local community.
